Painted Pony Books Presents A 'New Adult' Novel - Fly Away Heart by Sarah J. McNeal
Lilith Wilding can't remember a time when she didn't love the English born Robin Pierpont, but she knows he loves another so she hides her feelings beneath a hard veneer of self-protection.
Robin Pierpont dreams of flying airplanes and winning the heart of the one he loves, but when he gets involved in illegal rum running to help a friend, those dreams seem to turn into just a fantasy. When he is called upon to face his worst fear to save Lilith's life, his fate may be sealed in death.

Sarah, what a great story! I love your Wilding family and it's great to be able to follow them through the generations. You have a knack for being able to make these stories "stand alone" stories as well as fitting into a series...not sure I could ever do that. Can't wait to see what you have in store for us next!
ReplyDeleteHugs, dear friend!

Naturally, I forgot to use the reply button when I responded to your comment, Cheryl. It's down below. You know how much I appreciate you I hope. You have always been such a great support for me. How can I ever express such heartfelt gratitude? You're the best.
DeleteMy head is gettin' all swole up, Sarah. :)) You are a dear friend. I appreciate you!

YAY, Sarah! I'm so happy to see this book's release. I love it when a favorite character from a previous story gets his own. Robin was such a charmer as a child in "A Husband for Christmas" in WISHING FOR A COWBOY, and his grown-up story sounds like a winner. Can't wait to dive in. :-)
ReplyDeleteHUGS!!!!
Kathleen, you always make me feel so wonderful with your supportive comments. I love your sense of humor and positive attitude, too. Thank you so much for your comment. I'm very excited with this new release under Painted Pony Books...or as a YA author.
DeleteSarah,
ReplyDeleteLove your writing and I know I'll just love this one, too! Congrats on the new release!!
Karen, thank you so much for coming by and for always giving such positive input on my stories. You're such a doll.
DeleteCheryl, I think you could do just about anything when it comes to writing. I know you mentioned Travis (one of my favorite characters of yours) in another story after you introduced him in Fire Eyes, now I sure hope you write his own story.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for always "being there" for me. It's better'n gold.
Sarah! That is so nice of you to say. I have sure stretched my wings over the past couple of years, that's for sure. Yes, I do have plans for Travis. But he has to wait his turn. LOL Thanks for your kind words, dear friend.
DeleteWonderful story, Sarah. I thoroughly enjoyed reading Fly Away Heart. Like Cheryl said, can't wait to see what you have in store for us next!
ReplyDeleteLivia, your fantastic artwork is going to be so valuable in promoting this story. You got it just right.
DeleteWell, I'm working on the next one for the summer anthology--Juliet Wilding and the school teacher, Harry O'Connor.
I'm also working on a paranormal with Pennytook the Gypsy.
Thank you Livia for all your hard work. You and Cheryl make a great team and I'm so happy to be a part of this publishing company.
Sarah,
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a wonderful story! I love that you set it during Prohibition, a different kind of Wild West. :) Best of luck with the new release!
Kristin, my parents talked about the Great depression and WWII so much I feel as though I lived through it, too. I watched the old movies on the Late Show produced during the 1930's and I always loved the beautiful satin dresses, intriguing hats (like women wore hats everywhere then), men who minded their manners and then there were those deadly gangsters. It was so exciting. Thank you so much for commenting and wishing me luck.
DeleteSarah, congrats for your new release! It sounds like a great read.
ReplyDeleteHey Lyn, thank you so much for coming by to leave a supportive comment. What are you into now?
DeleteWhat a great story this must be. Loved the plot. Now to be a 'new adult' (Grin) Doris
ReplyDeleteDoris, what a wonderful thing to say. Thank you so much.
